Private Rope Bondage Sessions

Book a Private Shibari Session in Downtown Los Angeles

Get A Little Tied Up…

Whether you’re seeking the exhilaration of being tied for the first time, a creative collaboration, or the deep calm of surrender, our private rope bondage sessions are a chance to immerse yourself in rope in a safer, skillful, supportive environment in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.

We welcome all bodies, all identities, and all levels of experience. You don’t need to be “rope ready” to book a session – you just need to show up.

How It Works:

Sessions take place at Devil Mask Studio, 529 Lindley Pl #305 in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles. When you book, you’ll select a rigger and share your preferences, limits, and any accessibility needs via an emailed Intake Form. Sessions can range from meditative floorwork to dynamic suspensions, with pacing, intensity, and style tailored to you.

Please be aware that we do not suspend first-time clients. Suspension requires a level of shared context and trust that we look forward to building with you.

We do not accept walk-in clients for sessions. All sessions must be booked in advance.

Session deposits are non-refundable but may be used to reschedule or turned into Studio credit with at least forty-eight hours notice. Please email us to reschedule or request credit.

The remaining balance of your session (less transaction fees) is refundable up to forty-eight hours before your lesson. Refunds for late cancellations are at the Studio’s discretion.

The times you see are determined by what time zone your web browser thinks you’re in. For instance, if your browser thinks you’re in EST, it will show appointment times in EST.

If you’re booking while traveling (or based outside of the Pacific Time Zone), please double-check that you’re booking for the correct time. Your confirmation email will always list your booking in the Pacific Time Zone.

If you’ve been victimized by time zones (i.e. booked the wrong time for your lesson) please contact us ASAP to move your appointment. Our Deposit & Refund Policy still applies.

F.A.Q.

Do I need experience with rope to book a session?

Absolutely not. Sessions are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Many clients book their first session before ever taking a class, either because they want to find out what rope is like for the first time or because they simply want to skip to ‘the good stuff’. Sessions are a great way to experience rope in a supported, one-on-one context before deciding whether to pursue it further.

What does a rope bondage session actually involve? What should I expect?

The short answer is: that depends on you! Sessions are shaped by your preferences and limits, which you share via an Intake Form after booking. Possibilities range from meditative floor ties and gentle immobilization to struggle, wrestling, impact, and more. We will discuss everything before we begin.

Can I be suspended?

Not in a first session. Suspension requires a level of shared context and trust that we build over time. First sessions focus on floorwork and getting to know each other – there’s plenty to explore without leaving the ground.

How long is a session and how much does it cost?

Our minimum length for a session is one hour, with up to ninety minutes bookable via this page. Clients who prefer a longer session are welcome to get in touch via email to request additional time.

Individual Session rates start at $150 per hour with add-ons available for a take-home blindfold and/or a +1 to observe your session.
Duo Session rates are $450 for ninety minutes. Given the complexities of tying two people (and balancing two riggers), shorter duo sessions are not available.

Where do sessions take place? Is the venue accessible?

At Devil Mask Studio, 529 Lindley Pl #305, an ADA-compliant building in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles. There is paid parking within a block, and the space is accessible via the Pershing Square Metro station.

Is this a sexual experience?

The answer to that question is complicated. While our sessions are not inherently sexual in nature, they are inherently intimate, and we welcome the full range of embodied responses to rope. If you have questions or concerns about what is appropriate within a session, please inquire via email prior to booking.

Can I book a session as a gift?

Absolutely. Gift cards are available here – you can also contact us directly to book on behalf of someone else.
