Play Fighting With Rope
Wednesday, March 26, 2025 7:00 – 10:00 PM
$80 per pair | $35 audit
A class all about play (fighting) with rope. Join Rory (Anatomie Studio, UK) and Nora (of the Studio!) for a high intensity class on adding a play fighting dynamic to rope, including skills that can be transferred to CNC or otherwise forceful scenes.
Topics covered include:
- Rope takedowns
- Body manipulation and joint locks
- Capture ties
- Restraining your partner
- Rope handling
Prerequisites:
Tying participants will need to be extremely familiar with single column ties, rope tension & handling, using frictions effectively; as well as nerve and injury risks for themselves and their partner. Being able to tie quickly, or without looking will be a bonus.
Audit tickets are available! Don’t have a tying partner for the evening? Not confident you meet the prerequisites? Join us with an audit ticket to take notes and ask questions during the workshop.
