We’re thrilled to host Pauline Massimo as a stop on their 2024 Tour! Pauline will be at the studio from May 3 to 5 teaching an all-levels class, a two-day suspension & performance workshop, and performing a self-suspension/installation.
- Workshop: Fundamentals – May 3
An all-levels class focused on Pauline’s approach to creating ties that are both improvisational and structurally sound. - Workshop: Performance & Rope – May 4 & 5
- Day One: What does it mean to have a point of view? The first half of this workshop focuses on conceptualizing creative, visually interesting ties and performances. We’ll explore what an interdisciplinary approach to rope looks like, asking the question “what does it mean to have a style?”
- Day Two: The second half of this workshop addresses technique andimprovisation. Let’s tie it together.
- Performance: LIBRE/FREE – May 4
An original piece combining self-suspension, live painting, and Butoh improvisation set to music by Miriam Felix. - Private Lessons:
Pauline may have availability for limited private lessons – if you would like to book time with them, please register your interest here.
Tickets will be available starting in April – as usual, members get 24 hours early access to secure their seats.
